Barbera Unplugged

When we first purchased Villa Mucci in 2023, we were inaugurated that summer with a real life festival... something we don't often have here in the states. Every summer at the start of June, Agliano Terme brings together local wines & food, art & music in an unforgettable setting.

Wine Tasting🍷

At the heart of the festival is, of course, Barbera d'Asti and other varietals from our local wine families. Agliano Terme is home to 20+ wineries, all of which bring their best for all of us to try. The best part is, we have come to know these people as friends. You really can't imagine it unless you are there...

Culinary Delights 🍽️

Pairing wine with food is an art, and this festival celebrates that beautifully. Our favorite local restaurants and the students from our local culinary institute prepare special Piemontese dishes for us to enjoy. We can wander the streets with our glasses & plates, and taste new things every time.

Art, Live Music and Entertainment 🎶

There is nothing like seeing families with their kids eating gelato and dancing together in the street; the atmosphere is electric with live performances from talented musicians throughout the night. And there is something for everyone, young and old. This culture celebrates us all.

This event takes so much collaboration - from our Mayor Barco Biglia to the Barbera Agliano Association, BAArt and all of the participating volunteers, chefs, wineries and restaurants. This was our third festival and are so excited for the next one!
